Barrow News

We have now had a second bulb-planting session here in Barrow. The first was last year when we planted predominantly daffodils, which we enjoyed this Spring, whilst this planting was with crocuses – particularly important since they are good for pollinators early in the year, when not much else is available. We also have an imminent plan to plant a Mountain Ash at the top of the village in memory of our late Queen.

Some villagers have recently sown wildflower areas, including ourselves. We are also trying to develop the wild area in the bottom half of our garden.
